We’re here to help
Thank you for using Allergy Tracker. This page answers common questions about logging symptoms, profiles, reminders, subscriptions, and privacy.
Important: This app is a personal health journal, not a medical device. It does not diagnose, treat, or replace professional medical advice. Always contact a qualified clinician for health concerns.

Getting started
What can I track?
You can log allergy-related episodes with date, symptom, severity, suspected trigger, optional treatment and notes, and optionally a photo. You can also track medication doses and use custom triggers.
Family profiles
Create separate profiles for different people so each person’s history stays organized. Switch the active profile before adding entries so logs go to the right person.
Onboarding
Complete the first-run flow to set basics; you can refine details later in Profile and related screens.
Entries, calendar & history
How do I add or edit an entry?
Use the add-entry flow from the home/calendar area. Open a past day or entry to view or change details.
Severity
Use the severity scale consistently (e.g. mild vs severe) so trends in Analytics are easier to read.
Photos
Photos are stored on your device with the entry. If you delete the app without a backup, local photos may be lost—see Data & backup below.
Medication tracking
Logging doses
Use the medication section in Profile to record doses. On the free plan, medication logging may be limited; Premium unlocks unlimited logs (see Subscriptions).
Reminders
If the app offers effect or dose reminders, ensure Notifications are allowed in iOS Settings → [App name] → Notifications.
Doctor summary & export
PDF summary
You can generate a summary (e.g. for visits) from the profile/doctor summary area. Content reflects what you logged; review it before sharing.
Export
CSV or other exports (if available) help you back up or analyze data outside the app. Exports depend on your plan and app version.
Analytics
Charts and ranked lists summarize your logs (e.g. common triggers or symptoms). They are informational only and depend on how completely and accurately you log.
Reminders
Daily reminders
Enable them in Profile if offered. If reminders don’t fire, check:
- Notifications permission for the app
- Focus modes / Scheduled Summary
- Low Power Mode (can delay delivery)
App lock (Premium)
If you use app lock, your data is protected when others use your device. If you lose access, recovery options depend on how lock is implemented (e.g. passcode/biometrics)—use Forgot flows if the app provides them, or contact support with your Apple ID purchase email only (never send passwords).
Subscriptions & purchases
Plans
Premium may be offered as weekly, monthly, annual, or lifetime, subject to what appears in the in-app paywall and on the App Store.
Restore purchases
On a new device or after reinstall: open the paywall or subscription screen and tap Restore Purchases. Use the same Apple ID you subscribed with.
Billing
Charges and cancellations are managed through your Apple ID → Subscriptions settings. We cannot refund from inside the app; Apple handles refunds per their policy.
Free vs Premium
The free tier may limit how many allergy entries and medication logs you can save. Upgrading removes those limits and may unlock features such as app lock, multiple profiles, or exports—exact list is shown in the app before purchase.
Ads
Free users may see ads in certain flows (e.g. when saving or editing). Premium typically removes or reduces ad interruptions. If an ad fails to load, try again on a stable network.
Data & privacy
Where is my data stored?
Your logs are stored on your device unless the app explicitly syncs to a server (check the current Privacy Policy for your build).
Deleting data
Profile may offer Delete all entries for the current profile—this is permanent and cannot be undone. Deleting the app may remove local data unless you exported a backup.
